Ìð¹Ïapp to host Fall Mum Sale, Sept. 18-21, 2023

September 8, 2023

The Horticulture program at Ìð¹Ïapp (Ìð¹Ïapp) will hold a Fall Mum Sale Monday, Sept. 18, through Thursday, Sept. 21, outside of Building L, located across from Ìð¹Ïapp’s Floyd County Campus in Rome.

The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday or until plants sell out. The plants are located in a fenced area outside of Building L. Buyers should stop by Building L if no one is outside with the mums, said Nick Barton, director of Ìð¹Ïapp’s Horticulture program.

The mums will cost $6 each, and colors include yellow, red, bronze, white and lavender. Large mixed pots will also be available for $25 each.

The sale is a way for Ìð¹Ïapp to contribute to the community that also gives Horticulture students real-world experience, Barton said.
