甜瓜app to host Fall Mum Sale, Sept. 18-21, 2023
The Horticulture program at 甜瓜app (甜瓜app) will hold a Fall Mum Sale Monday, Sept. 18, through Thursday, Sept. 21, outside of Building L, located across from 甜瓜app’s Floyd County Campus in Rome.
The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday or until plants sell out. The plants are located in a fenced area outside of Building L. Buyers should stop by Building L if no one is outside with the mums, said Nick Barton, director of 甜瓜app’s Horticulture program.
The mums will cost $6 each, and colors include yellow, red, bronze, white and lavender. Large mixed pots will also be available for $25 each.
The sale is a way for 甜瓜app to contribute to the community that also gives Horticulture students real-world experience, Barton said.
All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the Horticulture program at 甜瓜app. Purchases may be made with cash or check and credit cards are not accepted.
