September 14, 2022

The Horticulture program at Ìð¹Ïapp (Ìð¹Ïapp) will hold a Fall Mum Sale outside of Building L located across from Ìð¹Ïapp’s Floyd County Campus in Rome Monday, Sept. 19, through Thursday, Sept. 22.

The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on each day.

The mums will cost $5 each and will be available in yellow, red, bronze, white and lavender. Large mixed pots will also be available for $25 each.

The plants are located in a fenced area outside of Building L. Buyers should stop by Building L if no one is outside with the mums, said Nick Barton, director of Ìð¹Ïapp’s Horticulture program.

The sale is a way for Ìð¹Ïapp to contribute to the community that also gives Horticulture students real-world experience, Barton said.

All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the Horticulture program at Ìð¹Ïapp. Purchases may be made with cash or check and credit cards are not accepted.
